POSITION: Analyst-Developer

The Opportunity

As a member of the development team, you'll work primarily on innovative loyalty products based on SAAS. On a day-to-day basis, you will contribute to team objectives by carrying out development activities and performing quality control for our products. The ideal candidate will ensure that work is carried out using the latest technology tools such as Zend Framework implemented in PHP 5. He or she will also work in tandem with the client services team to help solve complex problems. Main duties and responsibilities:

• Design and document various communication protocols and interfaces (APIs)
• Carry out programming activities
• Perform integrated functionality testing
• Define production implementation plans
• Work within existing standards and norms and apply them to our Framework
• Ensure transfer of expertise to the team
• Update documentation for services and actitivies affected by modifications
• Provide the necessary support to customer service and sales

You possess the following:

• Solid understanding of LAMP standards (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
• Solid understanding of Zend Framework, version 1.9 and higher
• Solid understanding of PHP 5
• A DEC, bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in the development of transactional products and Web services
• Knowledge of Linux system administration in a context of high availability will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of applications and/or interfaces for points of sale (POS) terminals will also be considered an asset
