A new Buy Local program that works : Priorité Sherbrooke
Priorité Sherbrooke: a Buy Local program that works
Program endorsed by the Desjardins Group
and the Université de Sherbrooke
Sherbrooke, Quebec, September 27, 2011 – The Priorité Sherbrooke program now has more than 20,000 users, including students and employees of the Université de Sherbrooke. As a result, the Buy Local program, which is endorsed by the Desjardins Group and uses the MS2 technology platform by FANBOX, takes another step forward.
A PROGRAM THAT WORKS
All Sherbrookers can earn Priorité Sherbrooke dollars that they can use at more than 100 participating merchants. The card is available for free at participating merchants and must be activated on www.prioritesherbrooke.ca.
"Thanks to FANBOX’s technology, the Priorité Sherbrooke program is working very well, both for consumers and merchants. Consumers can enjoy instant savings while supporting local merchants,” explained Serge Audet, outgoing President of the Sherbrooke Chamber of Commerce.
THE DESJARDINS GROUP ENDORSES THE PROGRAM
The Desjardins Group has confirmed its partnership with FANBOX by today announcing its commitment to support FANBOX’s relational technology across its network of banking terminals.
"Desjardins is proud to contribute to the overall success of Priorité Sherbrooke by allowing participating merchants to accept the FANBOX program on their POS terminals.
